Misc. happenings from the last few days

We had our first attempt at making cheese (recommend either raw or a local dairy). Sadly it wasn't a success.....However, I did use the leftover whey in our weekly bread I make........Which turned out great!


The past few days, Rob has been off in preparation to his new job(that starts Wednesday). We have been up to numerous activities and excited to begin all the indoor plantings........

I received my latest order from http://rareseeds.com/ a few weeks ago, and along with my previous year of seeds, we are ready!

Our latest hobby, hydroponics, is shaping up to be an interesting project.......
Here is a pea pod that we started a week ago, and within a few days it has grown inches in our amazement! Our next trial will be cherry tomatoes......along with herbs.......
