Last night Rob and I attended Mad City Chickens. A documentary on urban chickens and lifestyle of sorts.....However, on the way home, we had to stop at Andy's Custard!



Though chickens/gardens and a homestead lifestyle were prominent here in Spfd. many years ago, it has long sense been lost in the past generation or so.....However, the past year has seen an incredible jump in urban gardens and yes, even backyard chicken lovers...It is exciting to see Spfd start to wake up and get back to the old ways of possibly supporting ourselves through our own food and bringing business for the farmers and other local folks........
