Food Delights and hyped up cats
Ah, more fun to be had..........I splurged on a heavier watt blender, so to help make some yummy healthy smoothies for the family.......
Playing with our food again:
rice, black bean, corn, salsa, guacamole and cheese on a wheat tortilla ......yum!
Here is the beginning stage of a sourdough starter I've been wanting to do forever!Starting to collect good healthy alternatives to our cooking........looking forward to lots of yummy ideas:
Lastly, One of the cats thought it would be fun to find a bag with something special in it while we were asleep:
So, what does one do when they find such a treat????? They must share~!!~

catnip? basil? mari-hoochie? pretty blender! i got a vita mix several years ago and what do i make in it most often? compost...(yeah, i bought a separate carafe for compost...)
Haha.....yes its catnip...the little suckers are such snoopers and will eat through a bag to get what they want.....This was too funny to watch!
Oh, I really wanted the vita mix, but we are down sizing our expenses and also planning a big vaca this summer, so had to settle with a regular brand......
Too funny for the compost, but it makes sense!!

Awesome pictures! The first is especially enticing :) We REALLY need a new blender. One of ours started chomping up the plastic bottom and the other is just not great. I hear so many wonderful things about the Vita Mix, but we usually buy used, so we'll see. We're also in the midst of a food processor dilemma. It got stuck and we're still trying to decide what to do about it...
